As an unfamiliar brand for mobile phones, Dell has joined the great fun of Android by launching Streak. The Dell Streak is so impressive that it is not only an ordinary smartphone but a mix of mobile phone and pocket PC, featuring a 5-inch huge touch screen, Android 2.2 OS and a 5 MP camera.

There is a Dell Streak phone, a battery, a charger, a handsfree, a protective bag, a CD-ROM and a user's guide inside the package box.

Measuring quite big at 152 x 79 x 10 mm, and weighs up at 220g, the Dell Streak has a 5-inch huge TFT capacitive touchscreen with 480x800 pixels. Under the most updated Android 2.2 OS, it will make you addicted to this genius invention. You can treat it as a smartphone, or a PSP, or an e-book, or a netbook, or any other things else.

The rear design is really quite cool. The all black design is with a Dell logo being the focus right at the centre, it seems like giving you confidence as the brand has done a great job in the computer market.

Like any other smartphones, the Dell Streak is equipped with a 5MP camera with dual flashlight support and autofocus is enabled.

Besides that, there is a front camera equipped, especially designed for video calling. This would be particularly useful for business users.

The audio jack and volume rocker are at the side edge of the device.

There are three buttons near the screen to give more convenient control of the device.

Actually, the Dell Streak is really an innovative piece of invention from Dell. It might be a bit large being a phone, but if you treat it as a netbook with mobile phone function, you will find it more appealing. With Dell Streak, your laptop and mobile handset can easily combine into one!

It has been quite a long time since Motorola announced the Milestone 2, but it keeps us waiting for its launch in the market. And now, here’s the good news for Milestone lovers. The Milestone 2 features a 1GHz processor, a 3.7-inch multi-touch display combined with a full QWERTY keyboard, and a 5MP camera, to make it a competitive middle-to-high-end smartphone.

The Motorola Milestone 2 features a 3.7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen which enables multi-touch. Under the popular Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS, users can enjoy a wide range of useful apps and funny games from the Market and make your phone more personalized.

At the rear you can see the Milestone 2 skin. That means it is equipped with the Motorola’s most famous software. And you can find the camera at the top right corner (in landscape view) of the phone.

Canon’s EOS is always the choice for enthusiastic and professional photographers. And this time, the Canon EOS 7D is the most powerful device in Canon family, and perhaps, the greatest camera in the market. The exposure mode dial is located on the camera's top left. Unlike the other members in the family, it does not feature the 'Basic mode'. This means the EOS 7D may not be designed for beginners. The ON/OFF button is right under the dial.

The control buttons are placed left of the LCD. This is quite user-friendly because users can make settings from the buttons and at the same time hold the camera tight.

There are two columns of connectors in EOS 7D, both are at the left-hand edge of the camera. On the left there is the PC sync and the remote terminal. On the right there is the Microphone input, the combined Audio/Video output and USB 2.0 plus HDMI.

Obviously, the Canon EOS 7D is especially designed for experienced photo enthusiasts and professionals. It is of the most updated specifications and most powerful ability for photography. If you are so used to Canon’s old DSLR and would like to upgrade for a better (probably the best) one, try ESO 7D then.

Nikon is building up the D-series with a newly released D7000 DSLR camera. It is with many new and improved features including a whole new DX-format CMOS sensor with 16 megapixels. This new image sensor is much more sensitive and delivers a basic ISO-range of 100-6400 ISO and can be increased up to 25600 ISO. D7000 must be a good choice for both photographs and videos as it also supports HD video recording.

There is a small digital display on the top of the camera to show details of your settings.

With such a powerful HD video-shooting ability, D7000 certainly has a Movie button to let you capture videos with just a tap. Other common buttons are located near the display for you to make settings easily.

The Control Dial is on the top left. In fact it is a double control ring. You can see two little light nearby and they will light up to show which modes are in use.

You can transfer pictures and videos through a number of ways including AV output, USB and HDMI. You can also port an additional microphone when filming movies; and GPS is available in case you are in other countries.

The Nikon D7000 is a good DSLR camera for amateur photographers. It is a camera that has many camera-settings to offer high resolution photos. It also supports Full HD video. You would want to upgrade to it if you have a beginner-level DSLR camera, or if you are an enthusiastic compact camera photographer you may also want to own the Nikon D7000.
