Samsung Galaxy Ace Unboxing Pictures & Review

Among the mid-range touchscreen devices, the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 surely stands tall next to the counterparts. The little brother indeed resembles a lot like the powerful predecessor Galaxy S and iPhone 4. Let’s open the box and take a closer look! Inside the box you can find: a Samsung Galaxy Ace Phone, of course, a battery, a charger, a handsfree, and a user’s guide.

With the rounded corners, silver sides and the 3.5-inch screen, Samsung Galaxy Ace bears a big resemblance to iPhone 4. It also follows the button setting of Galaxy S, with two capacitive buttons and a big square home key in between.

The black back is finely textured by rubbery surface. It looks decent and functions practically as it is fingerprint-proof. We also find it comfortable and secure to hold.

The 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash is exposed and thus vulnerable to scratches. It is inconvenient as you can hardly find a shutter key for the camera.

On the right you can find the power/lock key (like most Samsung phones do), and the micro SD card slot (up to 32GB, 2GB in box) under a plastic lid.

On the top side of Galaxy Ace you can find the microUSB port with a retractable lid (for charging and data) as well as the standard 3.5mm audio jack.

All in all, though not as best as Galaxy S and iPhone 4, the little brother is able to inherits certain merits from them yet with a much affordable budget. It acts as the perfect point-of-entrance for those having a limited budget.
