LG Optimus 3D P920 Unboxing Pictures & Review
We watch 3D movies in theatres; some may even have a 3D television at home now. 3D is indeed a technology that we can’t live without in the 21st century. Now, we can even enjoy the 3D journey simply on our very own personal assistant – our smartphone! The LG Optimus 3D P920 is the one. Inside the package box, there are a LG Optimus 3D P920 phone, a battery, a charger, a handsfree and a user guide.
Of course, you cannot see any difference between a normal phone and a 3D phone by seeing its appearance. Like other smartphones in the market, the P920 features a large screen of 4.3 inches. The front is a well-done mix of faux brushed metal and equipped with touch-sensitive keys.
The back has the LG’s trademark styling with a metal stripe on soft rubbery plastic. And on the left hand side, there are the rear-facing cameras.
A secondary camera in the front is also available.
And the primary cameras are located at the back. They help record 2D videos with 1080p 24@fps resolution and 3D videos with 720 30@fps resolutions.
The 3.5mm audio jack is just at the top of the phone. Right next to it is the on/off and lock key.
On the left is the port for HDMI and the USB.
Featuring touch-sensitive key without a QWERTY keyboard may sound inconvenient for some users. However, you will fall in love the user-friendly interface. You will discover another journey in the 3D Space.
The LG Optimus 3D P920 is definitely not the first 3D phone in the market, and of course we expect more to come. Comparing the previous 3D phones out in the market, the P920 has a bit of flaw- its thickness. If you place it next to a competitor in the market, you will see the P920 looks rather chubby than the others. For example, the Sharp Aquos phone sh-12c is a major competitor of the LG Optimus 3D. Although both supports brilliant 2D and 3D videos recording, the former one has dual 800 megapixel -camera while the latter only features 500 megapixels. Having the approximately same size of the display screen, you will expect to see a rather slimmer design of the Sharp Aquos. No matter which phone you are opting for, the 3D phones are going to be a big hit in the market!

HTC, with its easy-to-use Sense interface, comes with a new idea for the sake of benefiting the users again. The big blue 'F' at the bottom which is designed for a “click-to-Facebook”, is going to be a big hit in the mobile market among the users. HTC Chacha is a new Android phone built entirely to be social, combining the simplicity, ease-of-use and depth of HTC Sense with the power and connectivity of Facebook. The new HTC ChaCha Android Smartphone features a dedicated Facebook button for one-touch access to the key functions of the Facebook internet service that are integrated throughout the HTC Sense experience..In the box, we can see a HTC Cha Cha phone, a user guide, a battery, a handsfree, and a charger.
The ChaCha model does not look slim at all, certainly not like the others. However, the body is made of white plastic and brushed metal. The touchscreen is just 2.6 inches, with a 480x320 resolution, which may not be big enough for some users.
Watching ChaCha from the back, it’s another story. With the words “With HTC Sense” imprinted at the bottom, and the brand name in the middle which is brought out by the silver background, the phone is quite of an elegant style.
The QWERTY keyboard is handy and pleasant to use with rubberised keys. The ChaCha is a definitely a messaging device, with the dedicated Facebook button at the bottom of the phone, you cannot miss this phone if you are a huge fan of Facebook.
There are two cameras - a 5MP autofocus job on the back complete with LED flash and a VGA camera on the front for self-portraits.
At the top is the standard 3.5mm headphone jack and a lock button, and the left hand side holds the volume rocker and micro USB charge/sync port, while the bottom holds nothing but a tiny hole for the microphone.
As you hold the ChaCha to look at the screen, the keyboard is naturally tilted towards you. This is rarely found in most of the phones in the market now, but it is actually a big hit in the Hong Kong mobile market back in decades ago.
Having the idea of integrating HTC's Sense with Facebook is intuitive and inventive. Updating your status or sending out an email or message is a piece of cake with the keyboard. Although the shape does work well for the keyboard, the chin looks downright odd. However, if you’re opting for a phone with easy and quick messaging, the ChaCha is definitely an ideal choice for you.
