LG KM555 Unboxing Pictures & Review
LG KM555 is proving how competitive the mobile phone market can be. With a price tag of two-hundred something US dollars, you get touchscreen, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and a 3MP camera. It’s more than a bargain. It’s downright cheap! Could LG KM555 break the infamous spell of “what-you-pay-is-what-you-get”?
The package includes the phone, a charger, a battery, a data cable, a handsfree set, a pouch and a stylus.
Although the phone is cheap (I guess I will have to say it whole lot more in the passage to come!), the screen is no filler. It is a touch sensitive 265K-color 3-incher dwelt in a slim and tiny body. It’s neat and portable.
You have got a 3.5mm audio jack on the top of the handset. LG has always been thoughtful when it comes to this.
On the left side you find the volume rockers and the charging portal.
On the right side lies the shutter release and media shortcut.
The 3MP camera is adequate. The ability to record clips of QVGA resolution at 30 fps is an icing on the cake. You can of coz use wireless network to upload your pics and clips.
MicroSD slot is hidden under the battery compartment cover. You can expand the memory to a maximum of 8GB.
Although you don’t have the S-Class Cube UI here on LG KM555, the interface is still very friendly. You’ve got accelerator on board for auto-rotation.
You have a virtual full QWERTY. It’s very intuitive!
For a budget phone, KM555 is very welcoming. You have no groundbreaking surprises for this one, but it’s an above average safe player. Wi-Fi and HSDPA are the selling points (big ones I would say!). Bluetooth with A2DP, FaceBook and MySpace supporting SNS networking, LiveSquare will all put this phone on the hot-selling rack!
