Acer Tempo DX900 Unboxing Pictures & Review
As we know that Acer is aggressively on its new laptops and notebooks, and being a leader in the mini-notebook market with its Aspire One Netbook at the same time. Now, the computer giant Acer has put its logo onto its dual-SIM card device, Acer Tempo DX900, bringing two sides of your life together. Let’s see how’s it work!
It comes with a battery, a handsfree set, a charger, a miniUSB PC link cable, a CD ROM and a User’s guide, as well as a pouch.
It’s a bit disappointed with the screen size of only 2.8 inches, especially given its large and bulky overall look. However, the "finger-operable" user interface adds some marks to it.
The microSD card slot, as well as the camera shutter and on/off buttons is found on the right side of the phone. They quite handy and work well.
The same goes for the buttons on its left hand side- sound rocker and voice dial activator. Here’s the 2.5 mm. jack.
The micro USB slot is located at the bottom of the phone.
Turn to the back, you may see an auto-focus camera with 3 megapixel. It looks quite bulky.
There are 2 loudspeakers in square shape next to the camera.
Remove the back cover, you may saw 2 SIM card slot which supports for both high-speed 3.5G and 2G communications: The first one (controlled by "SIM 1") is offered quad-band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) GSM device and tri-band (850/1900/2100MHz) 3.5G connectivity, while the second one (controlled by "SIM 2") provides tri-band (900/1800/1900) GSM.
We are on Spb Mobile Shell, the personalized interface of Tempo DX900. It is more convenient than the Today interface when access to different applications. However, it lacks of accelerometer-based feature which can’t rotate the picture. Feel so disappointed with it, although the feature can’t help much on operating.
Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional! Inside is a 533 MHz Samsung S3C 6400 processor.
It got a built-in GPS.
Compare with the latest HTC phones, Acer Tempo DX900 is a bit dull. But if you want to take the advantages of flexible mobile connectivity with dual-SIM phone to support 3G and 2G SIMs. DX900 is definitely fit you. This is the first and as of now the only dual-SIM Windows Mobile device support 3G SIM out there, so you’re out of options.
