Canon EOS 7D Unboxing Pictures & Review

Canon’s EOS is always the choice for enthusiastic and professional photographers. And this time, the Canon EOS 7D is the most powerful device in Canon family, and perhaps, the greatest camera in the market. The EOS 7D features an all-new 18.0 Megapixel CMOS sensor and dual DIGIC 4 Image Processors, to capture at up to ISO 12800 and speeds of up to 8 fps.

You will find in the box a Canon EOS 7D DSLR camera, a battery pack, a battery charger, a USB cable, an AV cable, a strap, a CD-ROM, a user's guide and an eyecup Eg. (In this kit we still have a 15-85mm IS Lens)

Besides the brand new sensor and the dual DIGIC 4 processor, the EOS 7D also features a stunningly new all cross-type 19-point AF system, which is with improved AI Servo AF subject tracking and user-selectable AF area selection modes. The super focus ability of EOS 7D is just extremely easy for sharp focus no matter the situation.

The EOS 7D has a 3-inch liquid-crystal LCD monitor, which is a good one to view the images. And the viewfinder just above the LCD is absolutely a great one. It has 1.0x magnification which means it has 100% coverage, definitely a strong piece. Buttons on the rear are arranged in a neat and user-friendly way.

There is also a small monitor on the top of the camera, to show details of the settings you made.

There is a “START/STOP” button near the viewfinder for users to record videos in a more convenient way. Also, anti-slip plastic is mounted on the body for easy gripping.

The exposure mode dial is located on the camera's top left. Unlike the other members in the family, it does not feature the 'Basic mode'. This means the EOS 7D may not be designed for beginners. The ON/OFF button is right under the dial.

The control buttons are placed left of the LCD. This is quite user-friendly because users can make settings from the buttons and at the same time hold the camera tight.

There are two columns of connectors in EOS 7D, both are at the left-hand edge of the camera. On the left there is the PC sync and the remote terminal. On the right there is the Microphone input, the combined Audio/Video output and USB 2.0 plus HDMI.

Obviously, the Canon EOS 7D is especially designed for experienced photo enthusiasts and professionals. It is of the most updated specifications and most powerful ability for photography. If you are so used to Canon’s old DSLR and would like to upgrade for a better (probably the best) one, try ESO 7D then.
