Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Unboxing Pictures & Review
It is indeed not an exaggeration to claim Xperia Arc as the best Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson by far. The classy flagship device repairs what Xperia X10 being criticized and comes along with some of the best features Sony Ericsson has ever presented.Inside the box you can find: a Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc Phone, of course, a battery, a charger, a handsfree, and a user’s guide.
The 4.2-inch LCD screen is a LED-backlit TFT one. Unlike the over-bright AMOLED display, this is able to display more subdued and accurate colours, with more contrast and less noise which makes the screen a pleasure to watch. Located under the superwide screen there's 3 physical front keys which are both decent-looking and easy to hit.
Further adding to the aesthetic, the waistline is slimmed down to 8.7mm at the thinnest point. Due to the innovative concave design, the device is made smaller and thinner. The superlight and slender body owns a sensual bodyline which is appealing to see and comfortable to touch.
The 8.1-megapixel camera is definitely another highlight of the device. Photo quality is guaranteed by the Exmor R CMOS sensor, a really fresh technology which is just recently found in new compact cameras. It can also take HD videos even in low-light environment. However, location of the camera is too close to the edge, making it extremely easy to be covered by fingers.
On top of the handset you can find a relatively small (yet slightly eleavated) power key and the micro HDMI port which enables HDMI output from the phone to TV screens.
