Canon PowerShot G12 Unboxing Pictures & Review
Let’s come to the package box. You’ll find a Canon PowerShot G12 Digital Camera, a Battery Pack, a Battery Charger, a USB cable, an AV Cable, a CD-ROM and a User's Guide.
There is textured rubber on the body of G12 to prevent slipping. An AF-assist LED and optical viewfinder can also be found just above the lens. Right back to the main business, G12 is upgraded to record 720p HD videos under the QuickTime MPEG-4 AVC format. It is the first to own this appealing feature in the G-series. Other major additions include Canon's HS System and Hybrid IS.
G12 has a 2.8-inch PureColor II VA (TFT) 460k dots LCD. It can also be articulated for a wide angle for you to make more challenging pictures. At the side of G12’s LCD there fills with control buttons. Most of them are self-explanatory by their labels. On the top you will find three control dials for setting. Two of those are the Mode and ISO. And the ISO control dial is newly adjusted to further suit user’s need. A small LED light nearby will light up showing active settings when in use.The last of three control dials is for exposure compensation which is placed on the left. The small LED light also comes with it.The PowerShot G12 features a premium 28mm wide-angle 5x optical zoom lens, allowing users to capture sweeping landscapes and get closer to distant subjects during shooting.Overall, G12’s upgrades fall to Canon's HS System, 720p HD movie recording and Hybrid IS. And a lot of stunning features are kept in it. However, when shooting HD movies, it can only record up to 29m59s and file size varies. For either G-series users who seek for an upgrade or potential G-series users, it leaves to you whether to pick G12 or not.Subscribe to Posts [Atom]
