Nokia 6710 Navigator Unboxing Pictures & Review
Does it happen to you frequently, to be driving around in a new area not knowing exactly where you are? Tired of consulting with the map and planning trips? The 6710 Navigator by Nokia may help you to fix all these problems. Succeeding Nokia 6210, the latest Navigator by Nokia comes in a larger and better screen, touch zoom bar beneath, Wi-Fi, upgrading camera, faster data, faster processing…Let’s check it out before it finds you.
What’s inside? The Nokia 6710 Navigator, a charger, Car charger and Car holder, Stereo headset, microUSB cable, a pouch, Nokia Ovi Suite CD and User guide. It’s not just a cell phone, but a fully functional navigational system here.
The 6710 is in a pretty standard design and don’t expect it have the innovative style likes LG GD900 Crystal. Also, it is nothing of its predecessor's cheap gloss though dimensions and size are almost identical. The phone has good weight in hand and the slide feels very sturdy and reliable.
There is nothing special with its front panel as it is same as the 6210, besides boosting the Zoom Bar for zooming in and out on maps. For sure, the touch-sensitive bar can be good use in the image gallery and web browse. It just makes me think of HTC Diamond2. The alphanumeric keys at the bottom are just right in size and tactile.
On the top side, you may find a charger plug and 3.5 mm audio jack which is more than welcome in a non-multimedia handset, follow the HTC Hero.
The microUSB port and the memory card slot are on the left sharing one plastic lid.
The volume rocker and the dedicated camera key are on the right.
It is in slightly curved shape that reminds me of HTC Hero again.
At the back, you may find the 5MP camera, standard with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. The new shape makes it easier to hold during photo snapping.
The Nokia CR-111 car holder will be included, which cradles the phone easily in the car and completes the driving navigation solution and you also get a car charger here.
The car holder’s conjunction closed up, it is well made and allows of turning your phone in 360 degree.
With the Nokia 6710, you can pre-plan your journey at home on the PC and synchronize with the device via Ovi Map of Nokia. Additionally, the Maps has been updated to include a number of new features such as high-resolution aerial images, 3D landmarks for over 200 cities, terrain maps, weather service, premium travel and events content and traffic and safety warnings. The pedestrian navigation experience has been significantly improved as well.5MP camera is good enough for snapping, the excellent audio quality, also, the software capabilities are on par with the best Nokia smartphones. Connectivity is also top notch, as is the speedy CPU. The Nokia 6710 is worth to consideration.
