Sony Ericsson T707 Unboxing Pictures & Review
Sony Ericsson T707 is a fashion oriented device radiated style and glamour. It’s all about design but not the trendy one, perhaps many of you may think of the HTC Diamond2, LG Prada II, Samsung S8003 Jet…top of the range pricy handsets. Things to be difference with T707 here, target at the audiences who need a phone that is easy to use, but with chic as well in a budget price.
It comes with a battery, a charger, a handsfree and a user’s guide.
It surely an eye catcher. The two circular elements backlight in soft white when the call incoming. It comes in three colors; Mysterious Black, Spring Rose and Lucid Blue. All feel like a lovely toy for ladies. It is sleek and shiny but easy to catch the fingerprints.
Take a look on inside. The Blue one is much more eye catching between the other two. The display here is 2.2”only, and the frame around it makes it looks even smaller.
Actually T707 flip opening mechanism is quite smooth. But it will be perfect to be springier.
The keypad is flat and the spacing between keys is moderate. The texture of super fine grooves provides a very firm grip. Look! It is so stylish especially the rainbow D-pad. (Love it so much!)
The back of the device is made of matte plastic. Feel nice and rubbery. The sleek front is really matched with the back. Also, it features the Sony Ericsson logo and the loudspeaker as some other Sony Ericsson phones.
Under the T707 back cover there’s nothing surprising- battery, the SIM and M2 memory card slot. But you don’t need to remover the battery to insert the memory card with it.
The external display inside the large semi-circle is not very big with 1.1” only and is just monochrome, shows information about the time, battery status, signal strength and missed events. The 3.2 MP camera is located at the top.
The volume rocker and the memory card slot indication icon on the right. T707 is no more than one mm thicker than most other clamshells as it is in 14.1mm thick. Very handy and comfortable to hold.
The small circular element at the right side of the two semi-circles can be backlight in a choice of five different colors and these personalize pulsating light flashes depending on who is calling. Well~ the rainbow D-pad can be lighted up by the reflection of the light outside, don’t need any backlights to make it shiny. So nice!
There are four preinstalled themes: Clarity, Dandelion, Forest tale, and Pink lilac. Pink lilac here. Neat and clean.
It also features gesture control as you can wave your hand over the screen to mute calls or alarm. (Like the one in Sony Ericsson W380).You can customize the theme to your individual taste. It also changes from day into evening, which is perfect to match with everything from pure whites to a little black.
