Nokia 6700 classic Unboxing Pictures & Review

Nokia 6700 classic continues the legacy of Nokia 6300. The previous one has ever topped all sales records for a mid-range mobile phone. Now obviously the 6700 has upgraded a lot but still sharing the same “DNA” as its predecessor. I can say Nokia’s phones can always get better no matter how simple and seemingly perfect things are. That’s why they gained the most market share. Nokia ~the name is about everything, no doubt in it.

Here is what you find in the box: the Nokia 6700 Classic, earphones, a battery, a Connectivity cable, a charger and a Quick start guide. The phone we tested is in Chrome. (It’s not a black one! Looks like black coz of the reflection of light! )

6700 Classic is in a contemporary design which made of stainless steel, gives it a really solid feel. (Looks a bit over shiny but a good way to show off, isn’t it?)

Below the display we find four keys- two either side of the traditional D-pad. Those included two soft buttons with functionality changing according to the active menu, and the Call and End keys. Right in size, nothing complains about it. The keypad is rather flat but feedback is good, and big enough for oversized hands. I can say it is fairly comfortably to type with.

At the bottom, there are microUSB jack, the charger plug and the microphone pinhole. (We can only see the microUSB jack here due to the reflection of light. Actually, they all located there.)

The 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash is located at the back. And the loudspeaker grill is also here, on the other side of the camera. (WOW~ the stainless steel casting makes it rather bright, seems like it’s for the stage like a shiny dancing shoes.)

Removing the back cover, you may see the logo that is reminding us for recycling this stainless steel. (Of course not, 6700 is just on hand! And the build quality of it is just great. Looks so durable!)

Take away the back cover reveals the microSD card slot. (Expandable up to 8GB) And the SIM card slot is just next to it.

Look! 6700 is just a mirror when you in needed by turning to the sleek back panel. It’s now mirrored the Nokia packing box.

Regular Homescreen here. 6700 classic employs the Series 40 6th edition user interface. The background is familiar, and the only novelties are a couple of menu icons.

6700 classic music player with the applied theme. It has decent looks and all-round functionality, including album art, and a fair number of formats are supported. Besides all the typical functions, the music player here can be sorted songs by artist, album and genre.

It is also with the built-in Uplink Noise Cancellation (UNC) that removes background noise during a phone call. The technology features of 6700 Classic are equally meticulous which is bringing something great to the midrange table. The inner is really matched with its outlooks. The only things is the over shiny surface (as I have mention it thousands times!) is very difficult for shooting, complained by our photographer. But people always love to show they are with different, who is refused to be out of ordinary?
