HTC Snap S521 Unboxing Pictures & Review

After the Touch Pro2 and Diamond2, HTC got its new Snap, non-touchscreen device and lacking of the playful and tricky features, however, targeting at the audiences who loves simple and neat. It offers a simple set of features: “inner circle” optimized for e-mail and messaging, as well as the trackball…Keep the things back to pure with no gimmick.

It’s comes with a battery, an AC adapter, a stereo headset, a USB cable, CD and User’s guide.

Snap with a slim, sleek designed to fit perfectly in the hand, as it measures 12mm thickness only. At the first glance, it reminds me of Blackberry Bold, but slightly thinner and smaller.

Snap got the same features as Blackberry Bold did-the trackball. Maybe that’s one of the reasons that Snap looks alike Bold. Since the trackball itself is the impressive performer that is great and responsive to every flick of the thumb.

The QWERTY keyboard which is using a four-row layout. The domed keys here are in right size and incredibly tactile. The typing speed is great as well. It is one of the best keyboards we have ever set a thumb on. Well ~can you see the MSN logo on the forth-row there? It is the quick connection button to your MSN account. The Inner circle button which is on the right brings the e-mails rise to the top for quick access with one touch. Actually, it’s very convenient and having streamlined communication here with Snap.

The back panel is simply coating in rubberize material, so it's not slick and you feel confident that you're not going to drop it. The 2 megapixel camera lens also here, but please don’t set your hopes too high with it. It is the totally different things as of Touch Pro2 or Diamond2.
