LG KS660 Unboxing Pictures & Review
LG KS660’s highlight is its dual SIM compatibility. It is the first LG contribution to have such ability, following the path of the forerunner Samsung D980. It seems that LG is trying her best to hit every mark to try to excel in the game. Let’s take a look at how well LG meet her customers demand this time.
Coming along with the KS600 phone are a battery, a charger, a data cable, a handsfree headset, a leather case, a CD ROM and a user’s guide.
The sophisticated-looking phone comes in the color of black blue. Like a lot of the phone elites nowadays, KS660 is fronted by a 3-inch TFT full touchscreen. The silver metal rim is cutting edge.
Other than the screen, we find the answer, home and reject keys as well as the SIM switching key lying at the bottom of the front.
The phone has a 49 MB internal memory, and an optional expandable memory of maximum 4GB by micro-SD card. The Micro-SD slot is elegantly hidden on the left rim of the phone.
On the right edge, we find at the top the outlet for charger/ data cable/ headset and the Hold key and camera direct access sit at the bottom.
The design of the back to me is quite bold. It is covered by carved squares which are slippery resistant. It is functional but the way it looks may not cater everyone’s taste. The top lays the 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash. The camera is not to be underestimated, satisfyingly equipped with wide-angle shooting and micro-shooting. Right beside the camera, we find a speaker camouflaged against the carved squares.
Unlike Acer Tempo DX900who is compatible to 3G connectivity, KS660 accepts only triband GSM SIM cards for both slots.
Inherited from earlier model LG KP500 , KS660 has the Active Flash UI interface which is definitely a delight for the users. The 3D interactive graphics and customizable widgets are very user-friendly.
With just a click on the SIM switch key, you can easily switch between SIMs and get the best of the two conveniently.
The full touch screen is very tactile. You can input messages by virtual Qwerty keyboard and alphabetical keyboard as shown. It reads handwritings of English, Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh, Lithuanian and Estonian which allow you to type real easily.
The phone is also installed with program to read doc, xls, ppt, txt and pdf files, together with the dual SIM feature, it is surely the best business assistant. The full touch screen and 5 MP camera also make it a trooper that comes handy.
