Sony Ericsson W395 Unboxing Review

This time, Sony Ericsson is putting youth at the forefront with its newest Walkman phone, W395, in full Walkman package at a bargain price. Take a glance on it; it just looks like Sony Ericsson F305, F series of "gaming” phones. However, W395 is more vivacious than it in design.

The package is typical enough: the phone, a battery, a handsfree, a travel charger and USB plus a user’s guide.

The 2" 262K color TFT display is the centerpiece here. But it's a tad smaller than the one fitted on the more compact LG or Samsung mobile. Nevertheless, 2 inch is still good enough for a feature phone.

Below the display is the convenient D-pad which is your main navigation tool, but it also doubles as a music player control. There are two context keys plus a C correction key and the Activity menu key in Flatbed keyboard style.

Turn to the back, you may see the stereo speakers at the upper and beneath of the phone. They are stylishly etched around, together with 2 purple lines. Perfect match! But the 2 megapixel camera is hidden at somewhere (hide behind the speaker dots) that’s not easy to notice~

The walkman music player of W395 is its special feature. It supports all the formats of music so that you can enjoy them in their original format. Very convenience! Isn’t it? Also, there’re some additional features to enhance the music quality, like TrackId music recognition, built in speakers; Album Art feature and Play now feature. You can also enjoy music with 3.5mm jack through the adaptor of Sony Ericsson. (included in the package). Basically, you shouldn't have any second thoughts about this affordable music phone - which gets the high-end Walkman treatment.
